The Mothership is an outdoor venue. Please plan for varying weather conditions.

What should I wear?

Dress for outdoor events and changing weather. We recommend comfortable layers, closed-toe shoes for standing areas, and footwear suitable for mud or dust based on forecast. Bring a light jacket or poncho for cooler evenings, and consider sunscreen and hat for intense high altitude sun.

Is The Mothership available for private events?

Yes. The Mothership is available for private parties, and we also host public events. Please contact us HERE if you are interested in reserving the Mothership for your event. We offer different types of catering packages, catering partners, and full event production from start to finish.

- Do you allow outside food or beverages?

 No outside food or beverages are allowed.

- What kind of concessions do you offer?

 The Mothership offers a full-service bar and restaurant with craft brews, cocktails, wine, and a rotating kitchen. Follow us on Instagram or check out our calendar for current offerings and collaborations.

- Are there any special dietary options?

 Please inquire with staff about vegetarian, vegan, or other dietary accommodations.

- Is the venue accessible for people with disabilities?

 Yes. The Mothership offers ADA parking and accessibility. If you have specific needs, please email info@taosmesabrewing.com so we can assist.

- Is there seating?

The Mothership is primarily an outdoor standing/event venue with limited seating. If you purchase tickets, seating allocations will be noted. For smaller shows, you may bring a chair unless otherwise stated. For shows expected to exceed 1,000 attendees, the event will be standing-room-only.

- Are pets allowed?

Only registered service dogs are allowed inside the venue. No other pets are permitted.

Why aren’t other animals allowed?

Loud music, loud noise, and flashing or strobe lights can be disorienting and stressful for dogs and other pets. To protect their well-being and prevent distress, The Mothership does not permit non-service animals on the premises. - Where can I park?

The Mothership has two lots:

- Main lot in front of the venue (ADA-accessible spots available)

- North lot about 200 yards away (not ADA-accessible)

- Is parking in the main lot always free?

Parking in the main lot is typically included, but for larger shows with high attendance, the main lot may become a paid, premium parking area with added perks (e.g., closer access, faster entry). If applicable, pricing and availability will be announced in advance via our social channels and calendar and will be clearly marked at the venue.

- Are there rules about tailgating or alcohol/drug use in the parking lots?

Tailgating is not permitted. Anyone consuming alcohol or drugs in the parking lots may be asked to leave.

- What security measures are in place?

 Security may use metal detectors and/or screening at entry.

- Can I re-enter the venue if I leave during a show?

 Re-entry is not permitted. If you leave, you will need a new ticket to return.

- Firearms or weapons

 Firearms or weapons of any kind are not allowed on the premises.

- We reserve the right to refuse service or admission to anyone at any time for safety or policy reasons.

- What’s the weather policy?

 The Mothership is outdoors and operates rain or shine. In severe weather, events may be delayed, postponed, or canceled; follow us on Instagram for updates. Sign up HERE for our newsletter to get realtime SMS messages about show detials, ticket deals, and more.

- What is your cancellation or refund policy?

Cancellations are typically governed by the event organizer or promoter. Please refer to your ticket or the event page for policy details.

- How do I buy tickets?

 Advance tickets are available on our website. If not sold out, tickets may be available at the door.

- Do you offer local discounts?

 We sometimes offer local resident discounts; proof of residency may be required and can be redeemed at our downtown Taos Taproom or online, depending on the show.

Most shows are all ages, but children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Any child over 12 must have a ticket. All minors must be accompanied at all times.

Clear bags must be no larger than 12”x6”x12”. If you don’t have a clear bag, you may use a gallon-sized freezer bag. Small, palm-sized clutch purses or wallets do not need to be clear. Non-clear medical bags are allowed but subject to inspection. Diaper bags are permitted if entering with a child, but will also be subject to inspection.

Not allowed: Backpacks, fanny packs, printed-pattern bags, reusable grocery bags, mesh/straw bags, duffle bags, or large totes (larger than 12”x6”x12”).

If your bag is not compliant with the clear bag policy, you’ll need to return it to your vehicle, as we do not have storage available.
